Ultrasound Update..
Posted: 04-23-07 15:36pm

So I'll definately post a pic in an hour or so , I just wanted to quickly let everyone know how it went.
The pic isn't as good as my last one ... it's a close up of the profile but it's kinda fuzzy and such.
I'll post it later Very
Happy

Oh yea and I definately found out the sex!!
It's a.....

Freakin GIRL! I couldn't belive it ... Im super happy but I was 100% sure it was a boy , I still keep saying he...
The lady said you cant be 100% sure but she was pretty much 99% ... she showed me her bits ... it's so a girl , I'm in complete shock!

excited but also wondering if it's payback time!

My doctor will tell me about the placenta onnn Friday I believe he'll give me all the results... but she did say everything looked beautiful Smile.

I instantly started crying because I felt so bad for calling her "he" all the time!

haha I made her show me it was a girl, twice!
I still keep saying he ... I was so sure ... I'm really happy, I would've been happy either way though...

Now I'm going nuts about names!
I had my boy name picked out.
I said Jaela if it was a girl , but now I just don't like it enough ... I was so sure it was a boy I barely thought about it.
Ah well now I have something to focus on until SHE comes along Very
Happy
Feels so odd saying she!

COngrats on the girl!!!!

At my 1st ultrasound, my Dr. told me it was a boy! We were extatic!! I wasn't convinced. I thought, for sure, it was a girl.

Medicade only paid for 2 ultrasounds, so I Had to come out of pocket to pay for another sex determination. It was a week later(24 weeks) and he told us it was a girl.

We reminded him that he had previously said it was a boy. He checked my chart, and had to start over on the ultrasound! He said "yep. it's a girl!"

I didn't make it to 38 weeks, so I never got the last ultrasound to make *sure* it was a girl.

Sure enough, our lil .nana boo was born!!!!

GIrls are amazing!!! You'll finally understand how/why your mother feels about you!!! Crying
or Very sad

Yay for little girls! Mr.
Green

and I did the same thing during my pregnancy! I was convinced I was carrying a boy. Everyone in the family was hoping it was a girl and I kept wondering how I was going to break it to everyone that we were going to have a boy. But then, booyah! Girly bits on the ultrasound! My husband kept asking the ultrasound technician "are you sure?" Laughing .i think it burst his bubble a little bit, though he'd never admit it.

Sarah's totally right though - girls are awesome! And now that you know, you can take your time and pick out the perfect name for your little princess!

Welcome to the pink team!

.baron acutally stomped his feet and pouted when we left!!!

He said "if you had worn a blue shirt instead of a pink one it would have been a boy!"

And I said after she was born "see, I told ya so! We would have had to return alllll kinds of sh;t and repaint her rooooom!"

I do want a boy next though!!

Pink rocks!!

Sarah

lmao! I used to do that to .aaron all the time! I'd tell him to bring home a bag of cotton candy for me, and he'd come home with blue cotton candy and .i'd flip out that he was going to jinx me into having a boy. He thought I was nuts. Laughing

That's it. I'm only wearing pink from now on. I figure if I'm wearing it when I conceive all the way up to the ultrasound. I'm good to go!!! Laughing

If only it really worked like that....sigh...

Well I went to wal-mart right after ... but I didn't love anything... I want to LOVE the first thing I buy for her ... lol maybe that sounds silly... I have tons of baby stuff ... it's just all neutral.

I still can't believe he's a she! haha I'll probably go nuts on pink stuff on pay day though!

It's definatly a busy time for little girls at the moment there's loads of us! I know what you mean about wanting to love the first gender persific thing you buy, i couldn't really see anything i fell in love with clothes wise but i saw the softest, fluffyest pink blanket with a little bunny on it and just had to get it because i could just imagine my little girl all snuggled up in it when she's a few hours old

*Welcomes another baby girl*

Congrats

Oh man it reminds me, I've been calling my baby a he too. If he's a girl then I'm in the same position as you. Shocked I do have a weird feeling its a girl tho.
