Hi, I am at a breaking point... I have tried every "fad" diet around and nothing, or I gain it all back. What does a dietician cost and what exactly will one do? I am so desperate... I contemplated gastric bypass surgery, b/c I am 240 pounds and my ideal weight is between 130-140... however, with the cost of health care in the united states and the fact that I have no health insurance, I figured it was out of the question... I am only 21 years old.... I'm ruining my life by being this way and I just don't know what else to try... I am a new mom to a 5 month old little girl and don't get much free time to exercise, other than a daily walk and an ocassional 15 minute work out on the Gazelle... I try to change the way I eat by eating whole grain bread, vegetables, fruit, lean meat, soy milk, and following the guidelines in the book "you:on a diet" but I try so hard and fail..... Is a dietician helpful? How much does one cost? What will they do for me?
