Any Advise On How to Stop Losing And Have a Boy Posted: 04-24-07 06:39am
hi, i have had four misscarrages. after
the last one which was two months ago i
had some test and the results were that i
cant carry girls without having medical
help, but i do a test and around two to
four days later i lose, and i ring my
doctors and cant get in for a least a
week, so what can i do to try and hold on?
is it something that i'm doing wrong? am i
doing too much, work wise, am i worrying
too much? and what is the best way to
conceve a boy to stop me going through
this all over again.

I'm sorry that you have experienced so
much loss. I can not imagine how difficult
that must be.
I really can't be of much help. I have not
heard of only being able to carry a
certian gender. You may want to consider a
second opinion.
Do you see your ob/gyn regularly? Have you
asked them if there is any you can do?

i'm so sorry for your losses. i had a girl
then a boy straight after and i honestly
don't think we did anything different to
get the opposite sex. i think it is
literally just chance (unless your husband
has a particularly high female sperm
count)

I am sory for your losses. As for how to
conceive a boy, it's pretty much up to
fate. Apparently differnt positions can
determine gender, but if that is true with
the positions we were doing i should be
carrying a boy but i'm not
my partner has two children and they both
are girls. i have mentioned this to my
doctor, and she has said that he may have
lazy male sperm. so we may have to think
about having some form of ivf but to be
honest the idea of it scares me.
my grandmother could only carry boys, it's
something to do with our blood group, so
I'm told.
don't get me wrong i love my partners
girls to death and nothing will ever
change that but i really want a child of
our own, but my partner does turn round
and say we already have two if we cant
have any it wont be the end of the world,
but i cant imagen not having a child that
would one day call me mum, is that selfish
of me.

It's not selfish at all, most women have a
desire to be a biological mother it's
perfectly natural. My sister has a step
daughter who she loves but she just can't
love as much as her own two children
