even if you have never had a period it is still possible to get pregnant as a woman typically ovulates (releases an egg) two weeks before her period comes

Technically, yes, but let me explain. More than likely, no you canot get pregnant if you've never had your period.

When your body gears up during puberty, it first starts thickening the lining of your uterus. Then it releases an egg from your ovaries. The egg travels down the fallopian tubes and if it gets fertilized by sperm at this stage, then it will implant inside the uterus on the thickening walls, and develop into a zygote then and embryo and fetus and finally be born as a baby.

If the egg is not fertilized, then when it reached the uterus, the uterus contracts slightly (this is the cramping that many women feel during their periods) and sheds the thick lining along with the egg. This is your period.

Theoretically, a girl could have sex or be raped during her first cycle, and become pregnant even though she'd never had a period before. However, this is so unlikely to happen that I wouldn't worry about it.

However, if a girl who has not reached puberty has been involved in sexual activity, I feel she needs to report it to an adult. A girl of that age is too young to be having sex and she could have been physically harmed during the act.

It is certainly possible, but not highly likely as most girls are not having sex at that point. If you are sexually active and have not gotten your period yet, talk to your ob-gyn. You should use protection just in case since you never know when you will all of a sudden become fertile.

Really, the only thing you can do is take a pregnancy test.

I think you should discuss this with your parents or a counselor. You should be able to talk to someone, at your age, it is a lot of responsibility being sexually active and you need to be able to talk to someone about it.

Feel free to pm me agian if you want to talk.

Really, it is possible but not likely. Take a pregnancy test- you can buy them at the drug store and all you have to do is pee on them and wait a couple minutes. They are not too expensive, like $15 at the most but you can buy cheap ones and they work just fine too. If it turns out you are pregnant, I would suggest talking to your parents. They will be angry but probably want to help you in the long run.

Condoms don't cost that much, either. Pick some up while you're there. But realize that condoms aren't 100% effective either. If you are going to be having sex, I would go to the doctor (but that would require talking to your parents) or getting someone to give you a ride to planned parenthood where they can prescribe you with birth control and give you a checkup too. If you don't have money, they usually do it for free if you really need it. And if you're going to be having sex, you should see a doctor anyway.

Or wait until you are older to have sex. Your body really isn't ready.
