Well.. today, .Jenny learnt a new trick. She sits in her bumbo quite happily for a while, then she gets bored.. so today she started doing this...

It won't be long before she can get outta the damn thing, her legs are so skinny they easily fit through the leg hole things. hehe

It's fun watching her learn new things though.. I can't believe how much she changes all the time!

You can see the determind look of ' i *will* get out of this thing' all over her face. i really want to get a bumbo once .Mika's old enough but they look so uncomfortable, does .Jenny find it comfy?

They're actually a lot squishier than they look.. I thought they were made of hard plastic when I first saw them but they're not.. it's like squishy foamy material.

you should see if you can find one in a consignment shop or something, they're pretty expensive and not all babies like them (finn never liked his). they're very durable so even used they probably still look brand new.

i think the recommended age is 3 months. finn had great head control and a really strong neck so i started putting him in his around 2 months (i think), i just wrapped the boppy around the back in case his head started to fall back.

gabe already has pretty darn good head/neck control. he can hold his head up for about 45 seconds before he falters! & .he pushes up with his legs when he's laying on my chest/stomach. he's a pretty strong boy.

reese does that too, i cant understand why a baby would try to get when the cant crawl or walk yet, they'd get out and be on the ground thinking "now what?"

the trays kinda suck, my bro got one for reese and when reese does that thing jenny is doing he knocks it off... Wink
