Thats me, good ole secretary of the af estate!

The first few cycles I was only not beeding 3-5 days. The last few times its been 5-6 days. So I guess its an improvement. Rolling Eyes

I should be starting sometime today. This time will be 7 days without bleeding if I start today.

sorry to be so nosey but are these definate cycles or is this prolonged on/off bleeding?

by that I don't mean I doubt you, Christy (I remembered again Wink ), I mean has hormone testing been done to ascertain if you are having proper cycles, or is your doctor assuming they are proper cycles?

I know that sounds so nosey and rude, but this is something that interests me so much and that I have a personal interest in too.

Your not being rude at all. Feel free to ask away!

I don't believe they are regular cycles. I just call them cycles because it is the closest title I can find to describe them. There is no possible way I could be ovulating. It just isn't long enough. The only thing that makes me think they *may* be is because they do seem to be following a schedule. But that is probably just conincidence. I have spoken to my doctor about it. I was told that some women just take longer to regulate there cycles after you discontinue birth control. And that if this pattern continues for six months (yep...six months Evil or
Very Mad ) That they will do some tests to make sure I don't become anemic and to see where my hormone levels are. Rolling Eyes I'm just so over it.

This really sucks for you two. My "period" is still MIA. I spotted for a couple days as Christy knows but that was it. It's been over a week now. I have taken plenty of pg tests as we are ttc. I've had a couple come up with a line and some with nothing. I don't know what to think. Then when I went to the bathroom a few minutes ago and wiped I got some nasty thick snotty looking stuff with a speck of brownish red blood (sorry tmi). I would swear that I was pregnant were it not for all the negative tests.

Thanks, Kia! Yeah, it is good luck! I think I am going to call my nurse today to see if I can come in for some bloodwork.

Is that your appt with the specialist? I hope they'll be able to tell you something.

T/V ultrasounds, as uncofortable as they may be, are pretty cool. The stuff you can see that way really helps in may situations.

Good luck!

Stef, I hope this is it for you. I know you must be so frustrated with all the mixed signals this month.

road works aded with an insane amount of traffic - it's 2 miles from our appartment to the motorway and it took 17 minutes to do those 2 miles Shocked
so needless to say we got there late and he refused to see me. Evil or

I'm sorry.

I had that happen to me once. I was about 20 min. late. I ended up having to reschedule for 6 weeks out (neuro) and pay a $50 no call/no show fee. Even though I called them and told them what was going on. Because I didn't cancel 24 hrs in advance it was an automatic charge. Evil or
Very Mad

I wondered why you hadn't posted about it. Hopefully, your next appt won't be as difficult.

the next appt is for 10am instead of 9am - you'd be suprised what a difference that makes to the traffic to get out of town.
I figure if we plan on being there for 9.30am we should be OK.

I was so afraid this morning that they were going to turn me away because I was supposed to get to the hospital at 8.30 and I got there then but I had to go to registration (which you are supposed to do 15 mins before your appointment) but I went to the lobby desk and called up to where the dr was and they told me to bypass registration and they would take care of it because there was no waiting in the office. It was so awesome! I got up there and went right in with the nurse for the u/s and then the dr came right after the nurse and then they ran some extra test (just for fun lol) and I got to see all my protein lvls again.

Unfortunately I am stuck doing a bunch of blood tests and am peeing into a plastic container for the next 24 hours. Oh well, I got to see my boy again!
