Now Getting Worried a Bit
Posted: 04-27-07 15:43pm

We went to the doctors today and going off her last he is saying she should be about 5-7 weeks along. So he checked her out and he said that if she was this far along we would see a sack and he didn't see anything. So they are doing blood work to check her levels and she will be going to get more blood work done on Sunday to see if her levels go up over the next 2 days. We will be getting the results monday.

We are thinking that we conceived on Easter which would put us coming up to 3 weeks ago. But now whe is really worried that there could be a problem.

Anyone have any input on this?

She may have ovulated later in her cycle then normal. Then she wouldn't be as far along as they think. You'll know better after the blood work comes back. Good luck and keep us posted.

Thanks for your response. If that is true, that would have had her ovulate really close to when she would have been getting her period. She is sooo worried about everything. I actually am supposed to be going out of town tomorrow but am pushing it off until possibly monday night to leave because of this just incase it would be bad news.

Well, got the results back today. Her levels were at 118 on Friday and 200 on sunday so he said everything is looking good. We are guessing that we are just 3 weeks along right now. She will go back next monday for another check up to see how everything looks then. He said that we should see a little spot on the screen next week.

Thanks

I'm glad everything came back looking good.

Are you going to be able to go with her to the ultrasound?

No I won't be able to next week, I will be in Florida. I already moved around my schedule this week so that I could be here today when I was supposed to be in Florida now aswell. I told them that I want a picture no matter how small the dot is on the screen... LOL

Well, another update.

Today while she was at work she started to bleed very heavy... like she started her period. We called the doctor and went in to get blood work done and will be going back tomorrow at 11am for another checkup. She was freaking out about it. by the time she got home from the doctors and work was about 3 hours later and there was no more bleeding... seems that the blood was just there at work, not continous. Since then she has had no more blood at all. Also, not really any cramping either and didn't have any cramping when she discovered the blood.

We are hoping all is well and this will be nothing to worry about. I guess we will see tomorrow.

Thanks

Thank you to both of you for your kind words!

We are still playing the waiting game at this time, they still do not have the blood test results but the doctor will be calling us as soon as he gets it.

He did do another internal and the wall is still thick and she hasn't had any additional bleeding.

Hopefully we will have good news in a few.

Thanks

Very bad news...

According to what they said, the HCG levels were 234 yesterday and 215 today if I remember correctly.

My wife is so upset. she will be going for a checkup next thur unless she has any additional problems before then.

This is a thread that is currently going on in our pregnancy forum. I thought you might want to read it:

Thanks MC.

We are still thinking positive. I told her that if she was having any really bad problems that she would have pain. She has had very little cramping here and there and that is it! No other pain to speak of at all.

A friend of hers had a mc and said that it was very very painful so we are just looking on the bright side of things.

I told my wife to just take it easy and wish for the best.

I went to the link you posted and posted under that thread... Thanks for the info on that one. Should be interesting to see what the levels were at for the OP.

Thanks
