Hip Pain: Cancer Versus Osteonecrosis Posted: 04-29-07 13:56pm


I was seen by two orthopedics who said my bone scan and MRI's showed a lot of fluid in the bone marrow around the hip. The bone was slightly worn. They think it's early state necrosis - but - one of the reports from the radiologist mentioned possible cancer - but dr. still say probably necrosis even though it did not totally seem that that. What is interesting after taking just one Aleeve the pain was much better. Yet, my hip still does not move correctly. I just started phyiscal therapy too - to get my body more in alignment and got orthotics. Anyone else with hip bone cancer have anything like this? Thanks
