Q: So Scary! Blood

This is my separate post of bloody stool. I just went to the bathroom and have a lot of blood coming from my rectal area. Enough like I have just started my period. I have been having lower back cramps and some cramping in my bladder area in the past four days. I don't feel the type of discomfort as someone would with hemorroids. I had one in the past and it feels different. Perhaps it is a hemorroid but higher up in my colon. I am not an expert. I just called the doctor's office and hopefully will get some answers. Yes, the blood is bright red. I just wish my lower back cramping would stop.

Nurse called: She has to talk with the doctor. She is thinking it may be internal hemorroids. Oh, what fun. They are still waiting for results to see if I have another UTI.

I had the same thing when I was about as far along as you are. A lot of blood, exactly like you explained. They went away not too long after, and have come back. It is no fun.

Hemorriods are no fun. Too bad so many things happen to a woman that are such a drag during pregnancy! I don't blame you for being nervous about it.

Take it easy!

Thank you both. My last pregnancy was just so easy! This one has been no picnic. I have gained 35 pounds so far and am 28 weeks pregnant. When I think about this little miracle inside of me and how he wasn't even supposed to make it, I am extremely thankful. I will take the weight gain. UTI's and wonderful hemorroids and anything else if it means I will deliver a healthy baby boy. This whole experience has really caused me to reexamine my life and not take anything for granted. I am actually thankful I am at 28 weeks as the doctors initially thought I may not even make it to this point.
The physical stuff still stinks, though! At least the blood didn't come from my vagina!
