i read on a website that if you take
microgynon 30 correctly for 21 days then
on your pill free week when your supposed
to get your period you can have sex with
out getting pregnant? is this true or
false???

Actually, you can safel have sex after
only 7 days on most birth control pills.
Microgynon may be different, but almost
all of the packs tell you to wait a whole
cycle. Yet you are safe after one week.
So yes, it is true, you are totally safe
from pregnancy after a full cycle on
microgynon.

I think you might have been concerned
about the pill-free week.
When contraceptive pills are taken
correctly you are protected during your
pill free week (or sugar/placebo pill
week) during which you will have
withdrawal bleeding (period). You are
protected for those 7 days you are not
taking a pill, as long as you start the
next pack on time.
