Congratulations on the pregnancy!

I don't think there are any symptoms that are exclusive to ectopic pregnancy. You will experience some cramping in the first few weeks due to everything growing and stretching. I think it is only a concern when the pain is severe.

Worrying is a normal part of pregnancy. Even more so when it is an unexpected blessing such as this. But you should try not to worry, and take this time to enjoy your pregnancy.

hello! congrats! when you go in for your first appt most likely they will do an u/s and you will be able to see your baby bean. if it were ectopic you would know becuase you have a lot of pain and bleeding. a m/c is the same but ectopic pain is more severe. for me m/c pain was like a really really bad period. don't worry about that stuff though! try and relax, i know it is hard to but try and enjoy it

Thanks so much for your reply. I am sure you will get your baby soon. I am 30 years old. I want to add that these worries of mine are more so maybe than others becuase my history is that I actually thought I was infertile or Sterile even. At 17 I had an abortion ( My Heartache forever),, afterwards I have never gotten pregnant despite trying with that boyfirend for a year afterwards and the 13 years since I never used protection ( I know terrible dangerous, stupid). I also immediately after abortion had horrible symptoms in my belly, I felt popping, exploding sounds. I have since read alot about infertility and came to the conclusion that I either got PID infection that caused damage to my tubes or other reproductive organs.
So now that is my worry that maybe I have ectopic. Or that since I never actually used Home pregnancy tests till this last month of officially ttc with my husband that maybe I have been pregnant before and was just misscarrying and did not know it.
Well hope this wasn't too long. I just thought it might help to explain my situation.
Please if you wish to you can share your story with me. How long have you been trying?

We have only been trying for about two months. I have a history of ovarian cysts and had been on birth control for many years. On Saturday I went to the emergency room with abdominal pain and it is another cyst. I have to track my temps and see if I am ovulating at all (which I doubt). If not when I go for my check up in 6 weeks I will be referred to a specialist because my ob/gyn won't be able to help me So hopefully, it won't be to long.

Have you every seen a doctor about you concerns? Have you voiced these concerned with your current ob/gyn? They may be able to give you an ultrasound to help keep your mind at ease.

I am sorry to hear about your cysts. Do they cause any fertility problems? You have only been trying for 2 months so that is still really early. I hope that you will get your positive soon.
Well I definitely plan on telling my Dr. those worries and requesting an ultrasound ASAP. The only problem is I am waiting for my insurance to kick in, that will happen hopefully by the beginning of next week.
My worry is that it will be too late by then and that if the worst case scenario were true that by then it would rupture. Then causing infertility for sure.
Well please pray that it is not the case, I have so much Hope riding on this baby.

Well I know that this was like two years ago but I just wanted to say to faithhope777 that God has blessed you and is giving you a second chance with this baby and I am sure that everything worked out well for you. If you ever happen to see this post, I would love to hear how you and your baby are doing....have you tried again?
