If the reason for the vaginal bleeding you
are experiencing is some type of hormonal
disturbance in the axis
hypothalamus-pituitary gland-ovaries
(functional bleeding) then oral
contraceptives (Yasmin) might help. But if
the reason for the vaginal bleeding is an
organic disorder (tumor, infection…)
oral contraceptives won’t help you. A
vaginal examination, vaginal ultrasound,
hormonal analyses PAP-test and
microbiological tests for STD are
necessary to identify the cause of
irregular vaginal bleeding.
