Hbp & Pregnancy Posted: 05-03-07 10:29am
I just found out that I am pregnant. I
also just found out that I have High Blood
Pressure. I consider myself to be
healthy. I am not overweight, do not
smoke, do not drink. I do have a
stressful customer service job in a fast
paced office. But, to discover I have HBP
came as a shock to me. My doctor was
quick to recommend a low dose of a
medicine that I can't even pronounce! I
quickly went online to look for some
support. I have never been one to even
take aspirin, so the thought of taking a
pill just keeps me in a state of shock!
Does anyone know of any non-drug ways to
control blood pressure? What about these
medical devices I have seen online???
HELP!

Hi veronicca,
Welcome to ehealth!
How far along are you?
You should post in the pregnancy forum.
There are alot of great girls over there
that would probably be a lot of help.
