Well That Was No Help. Posted: 05-03-07 17:25pm
I went to the local health clinic and told
the nurse there everything that had been
going on while she did a urine test on
me...
She says, "Oh well look like it's coming
out to be negative... oh wait... oh-no...
nope still negative..."
The suspense in that sentence was killer.
I wanted to hit her, but as we were
leaving my mother (who found a note I
wrote to a friend and found out about my
whole worry thing) says, "You know for a
moment it looked almost like there was
another pink line showing up."
So the nurse proceed to tell me that,
"There is still a good chance you may be
pregnant, but you need go check with your
doctor to be sure."
I have made my appointment with my normal
doctor and will go there on the 24th...
I'm going insane...

How frustrating!!! I would have cried.
That's just what I do
Anyways, it's good that your mom knows and
is supportive. How did she handle it?
You will definitely know by your doctors
appt. You can discuss birth control then
if you aren't pregnant.

She Took It Kinda Like This: Posted: 05-03-07 19:20pm
I was out with my friends and she called
me and told me that she and I were going
to have a "talk" when I got home. I pulled
up and really just wanted to go to bed,
but she was still awake when I walked into
the house so I didn't say anything as she
followed me into my bedroom.
She sits down on the small bench seat in
front of my vainity table and looks up at
me very seriously, "Are you pregnant?"
"No," I reply, as she reachs for a
ciggarette.
"Do you think there's a chance you may
be?" she questions, lighting her
cigarette, still looking at me very
sternly.
"Yeah, but it's a small one so I wasn't
going to worry you with it. What made you
suspicious?" I ask as I start to change
into my pajamas.
"Well I noticed you weren't using any pads
here lately and I found a note that you
and one of your friends had been writing,
it said something about you thinking you
might be pregnant and something randomly
about a mini-van."
Since I wasn't going to worry her
unnecessarily, but I was already busted I
told her all my symptoms, when it was when
I last had sex and pretty much anything
else I could think of. She calmly stated
that we were going to go to the health
clinic after school the next day so that
we can know for sure. So we did... and it
didn't help...
If I am pregnant then I should be around
21 weeks. I'm kind of worried because my
midsection has gained quiet a bit and I'm
getting strange feelings around where the
baby should be growing... Strange, ne?

If you are 21 weeks you would know it. You
would have no problem getting a positive
by then. And you would be significantly
larger.
Have you had sex since 19 weeks ago?
You still need to go to your doctors appt
though. You need to find out why you have
not had your period in the last 4 months.
It could be a cyst. They can prevent your
period and cause weight gain. They're
harmless so don't worry. And birth control
is the only thing (
as stupid as that is) that can prevent
them in the future. So its win-win.
I still hope you will let us know how it
goes.

Just to Keep Ya Posted... Posted: 05-19-07 10:33am
Last week I got my period, sort of. It
hurt really bad for the three days that I
bled and then some after it stopped. Not
to be extremely gross or anything, but it
was weird because I bled for a few hours
and then it just stopped for a couple of
hours and then started again. The night
before I started my period I had stupidly
done a lot of karate training, but I don't
know if that would have anything to do
with anything. I was about a week and a
half late when it started so... yeah.
I have gotten my period for the past four
months except for Febuary. January, March,
and April, were all light months lasting
only from three to maybe five days with
little to no cramping which is what made
me think that something was wrong.
Normally I feel like I have the period
from hell. Sorry if this was a little
ttmi, but I don't think that this is
normal and I'm just a little scared. I
still have less than a week until my
doctor's appointment...
I don't think I'm pregnant after having
all that pain last week, but I'm still
worried because of how sporadic the
bleeding was. Thanks for listening to me.

A woman's periods change throughout her
entire life. It is a myth that they are
the same every month forever. Are you
relatively young? Because it takes a few
years for your body to begin regulating
itself with the onset of periods.
Do not be concerned that your periods are
a little off now and then. I will advise
you to get on some birth control. That
will make your periods more predictable
and lessen your risk of becoming pregnant
so you don't have this fear again.
