I am 21 weeks prego. and was just
wondering when you start feeling
contractions. I thought I had read
somewhere that you will have small uterine
contractions during your pregnancy. When
do those start, if they do and what will
they feel like?

Those are called Braxton Hicks and I felt
them from 18 weeks on. To me my whole
stomach would tighten up. I wouldn't say
it hurt, but it was an odd feeling. For
some women they do hurt though.
If you have a lot of them, like 5 an hour,
you will want to let your doc know.

Hi i just had my baby 4
weeks ago and when i was pregnant i never
knew if i was having braxton hicks
contractions.everytime i went to the
doctor they would ask me if i felt them
yet and i never could really say if i did
or not.so some times u dont even realize
that its happening well at lease i never
did.one thing for sure i knew the really
contractions lol
