I'm posting this for my grandmother who
was in the hospital for a few weeks almost
a year ago for serious kidney
complications. she was kept on an IV of
Dilodin for a very long time and it was
positioned right above her right breast
beneath her collar bone. after recovery
she's noticed that the three middle
fingernails on her right hand have not
grown since she was in the hospital! and
now the skin around her nail beds is
cracking and dry while all her other
fingernails are fine! this is worrying for
myself and her. could it be nerve damage
from the strong IV?
