Queries!!!! Can U Help Ease My Mind??? Posted: 05-05-07 07:43am
I have a few things that are bothering me
and i hope you can all help.
I hope i dont sound silly asking this
but.....i read on a web site that when you
have morning sickness you have lesser
change to miscarry!! Is this true??
I'm almost 7 weeks along and have felt
very little to no nausia(spell?) and its
making me worry a little.
I'm also afraid to have sex with fiance
incase it brings on a miscarraige.
Does or has anyone else felt this way?
As you can tell this is my first pregnancy
and i have not a clue what i am doing!

Hey, you don't sound silly, you sound like
a mommy whos worried
1. i got your answer from baby center
If I don't have morning sickness, does
that mean I'm more likely to have a
miscarriage?
Not necessarily. It's true that a number
of studies have shown that women who have
miscarriages are less likely to have had
nausea. (If your baby or your placenta
were not developing properly, you'd have
lower levels of pregnancy hormones in your
system, so it follows that you'd have
little or no nausea.)
But there are plenty of women with
perfectly normal pregnancies who manage to
escape nausea during their first
trimester. Count yourself lucky and don't
obsess about it if you're not suffering!
and 2. no you will not harm your baby have some sex lady
because once that baby is here it's gonna
be harder to do!
hope i helped!

hey! i never got morning sickness and what
i did have was some light nausea for like
a week and i am almost 20 weeks now. and i
was afraid to have sex too because i
thought it would jar the baby loose or
something!but if you m/c after having sex
you would have m/c anyways and it just so
happened to be after sex. they just happen
and there is nothing you can do to prevent
it. so try not to think about it and enjoy
being pregnant

I didn't have morning sickness or any of
the "classic" signs of pregnancy with my
daughter. I felt awful until about 15-16
weeks with my son with sore breasts,
nausea, queasiness, and mood swings like
you read about.
Like the other poster said, if you have
sex and miscarry, you probably would have
anyway. So enjoy sex and enjoy being
pregnant.
You will worry not matter what anyone
says, it's part of the deal. Then when
they are born, you will worry about
different things.

I first got a feeling I was pregnant when
I turned down a piece of chocolate cake.
I didn't feel sick at all, I just didn't
want it, which is totally not like me. I
knew right then that something was up.
So, I guess one of the first signs could
be just that your appetite changes not
neccessarily that you feel ill. I ended
up getting morning sickness but it usually
wasn't enough to make me throw up, just
enough to make me almost throw up and not
want to do anything for fear of throwing
up. It's just different for everyone.
Try not to worry too much.

I am almost 24 weeks pregnant with a baby
boy and I never had morning sickness
either. Believe it or not, I heard about
the miscarriage think and worried about
the same thing as you but then I figured
that everyone is different so I should try
not to think about that. All is well for
me and I am sure it will be for you too!
