the Best Weekend Ever! Lessons Learnt! Posted: 02-22-04 02:54am
I just had the best weekend I have had in
a long time..... Mum, my sister cailey,
amber and I went to jenollen caves,
yesterday we went on 2 guided cave walkes
and it was magnificent!!!!!! The caves
were sooo beautiful, I went there when I
was a kid, but my memory done it no
justice.... Today we went on 1 guided
tour....
Well the lesson that I learnt was to check
to see how many steps there were at a
tourist attraction! The first 2 cave
walks were relitivly easy, with few
stairs, and cailey walked most of the way,
but the last tour we done had 345 stairs
and cailey refused to walk, 11kg gets
heavy after an hour and a
half,,,hahahaha....
So tonight im going to rest my weary legs
and write in my diary as a reminder to
myself_ ( not to go any where that ma have
stairs again)
on trhe up side it was great to spend time
with my daughters without the normal every
day boring crap getting in the way....

Sounds like you had fun there! Tiring but
fun! I visited a castle a while ago &
we had to walk up about the same amont of
stairs but they were winding and narrow,
there was hardly any light and no hand
rail! Well....I hate heights and small
spaces and I was like "i wanna go down"
but there were lots of people behind me so
I had to keep going! Lets just say I wont
do it again!
So...I can identify with how tiring it is
walking up so many steps but not the bit
about carrying a baby up them!
