oooh goodness guys, i'm freaking out
it's been raining like crazy today and
when we drove by the river earlier my mom
was talking about how high it is.
flood stage is at 17 and now it's at
almost 22 and they're evacuating people
down by my house about 3 minutes away. i
don't understand why they're evacuating
people down there and not us.
they think by wednesday it's going to be
at 28, the highest in history was 32 and
that was the flood of 93 which was bad.
gggrrrrrreat
maybe i just worry too much.

Yeah things are pretty scary over here, we
arnt allowed to wash cars, water
grass/plants...pretty much anything to
save the water we actually have! It hardly
ever rains here so our rivers and lakes
cant refill!!

well i'm watching the news now, they're
filling sand bags and removing train
tracks so they can stack the sand bags and
people are being told to evacuate by 1
wednesday (i think it's changed now)
and i drove by the river earlier and it's
up in the trees and theres a bridge in the
water and it's up to the bottm of that
bridge. it just said on the news that most
people in st joseph will not be effected
so that's good, but i don't know if that
puts us in the clear.. we live in the
flood zone so i'm not sure.
