Lis of Anxiety Symptoms

Welcome to ehealth forum!

This is the anxiety and stress forum - feel free to discuss and ask any questions you might have regarding these two topics in here.

I'm futurelovers and I'm a supporter in this forum. You can also feel free to ask me any questions in any thread (I check them all), and if I missed your question, then send me a private message and I will do my best to reply on time and help you...

I'm supporting this forum because anxiety and stress are part of our daily lives, and they can often times take a huge toll on our lives. It is something we experience on a daily basis, sometimes even without knowing it. I know I've experienced it myself... anxiety and panic attacks, not knowing what to do or what is happening, feeling really ill and tired, constantly stressed, always fatigued, etc. - and that is why I'm here to help you - so that none of you here will have to experience anxiety and stress at its maximum force.

This is a great list of symptoms, covers just about all of them. I think everyone in this forum should read it, and realize how many of their concerns are on the list. Thanks Futurelovers for posting it.

Thank you for taking the time and effort to list all these possible symptoms that can go along with stress and anxiety.
Wow, what a list, huh?
Stress can sure do a number on a person, that's for sure.
This was a definate must-read for any of us who have stress in our lives.
(Gosh, would that be every single one of us?) Probably! Smile

Causes of Anxiety
Posted: 01-02-08 10:14am

The anxiety attack is something that just comes up on me without any signs, maybe life's stress's and something different in life and it intrigues me what actually causes this uncomfortable situation. My last attack was over and before xmas,so maybe xmas is to blame but no i don't think so or maybe partly. I think extra workload which includes that of a family man like jobs around the house, work and things that don't go to plan wind me up and then that tightness in the throat increases and won't let go. Today i don't have any anxiety feelings, not back at work yet though. This is where i'm beginning to think my problems started,as a child i remember times when father was over useful with the belt. Now i'm not blaming him totally because he did his best for us as a family but that feeling in the throat is exactly the same now as it was then, that upsetting feeling. I have a good relationship with my father now and he has alot of regrets in his life and i know which one is top of his list, but is this story with others common or am i totally wrong. Yes my children are now teens and no i never used a belt but my children knew when they had gone too far....

Thanks for the full listing!!

As I posted in "Stress, Dizzyness, Fatigue, Pins & Needles", I am currently experiencing pins & needles in my arms and legs, dizziness and fatigue. Maybe I should take my doctor's words for it - it's caused by stress.

I hope so, anyway.

Thanks again for this post!!

You hit the nail on the head....

I have throat tension like crazy...like someone is choking me, at times it's so bad I can hardly speak, I'm glad to know I'm not crazy and other people are experiencing the same thing...internal shakes and detatched from my environment/light headedness, weakness, numbing in the hands/fingers...and exhaustion from over thinking...

Id2wc...I had the same feeling in the throat after I was beaten by my parents (abused) I never really thought about it but now you mentioned it it is the same sensation...

When I am doing physical work I feel better, but after I'm done and relaxing it creeps back up on me...I have had the throat thing for about 3 years and it has gotten worse over the last 5 months because as my wife left me and took my 2 children, she said she loved me but she wasn't in love with me...that would give anyone anxiety...although I see my children 4 times a week and my wife and I live around the corner and we still get along great and we never fought just never really communicated...I'm rambling....

Does anyone ever experience detachment from their environment????
