Can a Bladder Infection Delay Menstrual Cycle???? Posted: 05-07-07 17:03pm
I might have a bladder infection but not
positive. My period is 3 weeks late and I
am growing concerned. I have taken 2
pregnacy test and they came back negative.
Can a bladder infection delay the
menstrual cycle?
If I do have an infection can it change
the results of a pregnacy test?
Please, if you know or have had this
problem please tell me your opinion!
Thanks!

I'm not sure, but I don't think a bladder
infection would change the results of a
pregnancy test. And if you think you have
an infection, you should go to the doc,
bladder infections left untreated can turn
into kidney infections, which are very
very bad.
Ironically, the anxiety you are feeling
about your period may be causing it to be
late. Or being sick, so I guess maybe it's
the infection. Either way, I think you
should go to the doc. They could test for
infection as well as pregnancy and make
you all better. Good luck.
