Hey everyone! Hope you are all doing well?! Thought I'd post the latest belly pic's of me. Today, I am 22.4 weeks. I know.....I have a big belly already! I told you...I'm gonna be huge! Shocked My tummy is very round though and high (I think - at least that's what people are telling me?!)
Anyways, enjoy! Wink

You look good girl! I really think that you have an adorable belly.

It's hard to believe that you are behind me but you don't look fat. If that makes any sense Rolling Eyes

You have a cute belly! I think you're just carrying high, which makes you look bigger. I'm 31 weeks and about the same size as you. On a random note, i'm *very* jealous of your tan skin!!!

Crying or Very sad I know, I know - it's so big! What the heck am I gonna look like in 6 or 10 weeks from now???!!!!!! Shocked I'm scared that I won't be able to walk, and that I will have to *waddle* everywhere - like a penguin!!!!!!! The doctor said that I have no room from my ribs to my waist, meaning that this poor baby has no where to go but out!
But thank you for the nice compliments anyways!
My skin does look a bit more tan in the picture, but that's it's natural colour! I was going to go sit in the sun for a short few minutes on the weekend, but I got scared of getting pregnancy mask or spots, or making my tummy line darker, so I chickened out and hid inside Rolling Eyes !
Does big belly always mean big baby?! Confused

Thanks girl!!!! I am scared that I will have this massive baby - I don't know why. I think it's b/c the u/s tech told me that baby was measuring a bit big and it freaked me out for some stupid reason! Rolling Eyes
Plus the fact that my belly seems to be so big compared to everyone else's!!!

i don't think you look as outrageously big as you think you do. it's a cute belly!

the size of your belly has nothing to do with the size of your baby. at 40 weeks i was probably about the same size you are now (if not a little smaller) and i had an 8lb 5oz baby.

edit: i'm not saying your belly is the size of someone who is full term, i just didn't start showing until about 35 weeks and i never got big.

Thanks!!!! Wink I appreciate the comment. Guess I need to stop being a first time Mommy worry wart!!!! LOL Wink
I love my baby belly, and as long as baby is healthy, that's all I can ask for!
You didn't start to show until 35 weeks or so?! My g/f was the same, but she she had abs of steel and a nice long torso. She was much smaller than me at full term as well!

Thank you! How is your beautiful gabe doing anyways? How are you?! I remember your belly pic's and they never seemed *that* big to me, so if I follow like you , then it'll be ok!!! Wink
8lbs 1oz is fine by me.....I just hate it when other women try and scare you by saying "oh my, it just may be a 9 1/2 or 10lb baby"! What the hell?! That's a big baby to begin with, but why is it always the strangers that want to comment on your belly?! Mad I had one girl the other day ask me if I knew the sex, and when I told her "no", she said to me "I think it's a boy b/c when you carry a boy you get fat from your sides all the way around to your front".
I walked away thinking "did that girl just call me fat"??!!!! Shocked
Ahhh......some people..... Rolling Eyes

Sometimes when people ask me how far along I am I tell them I'm not pregnant just to see the look on their faces. People think they can just come up and start asking you personal questions when you're pregnant. Like you suddenly have a sign on you saying "talk to me please." Not that I'm not a friendly person, I just don't go around to strangers and rub their belly and ask them if they're married and how old they are and stuff like that. It's just kinda presumptuous really.

Jae- I have the opposite problem than you. Everyone keeps telling me that I am going to have a small baby! I try to explain to them that whenever I get an u/s he is always in the 75-80 percentile but nobody seems to care. They just keep adamently saying that I need to eat more and make sure my baby is nourished. I eat all the f'ing time thank you very much! I feel like people are already judging my parenting skills and I am not happy about it.

Btw, My doctor is totally not concerned about me being small. She says that I am measuring fine and that I just need to ignore all those people.

I hear you ladies....it just seems that we are either "too big" and get critcized or that we are "too small" and better watch out and are we doing what's best for baby....blah, blah, blah. I know some are just expressing their concerns and of course, sharing their experiences. Some comments I really do appreciate....I just don't like those moments where something is said to you by someone you don't know and your hormones are raging and you want to throw something at them!!!!
Let's ignore them all (the bad stuff I mean!).....listen to our own bodies and our doctor's (as I would think they know best!?!) and have fun!!!!!
However, on that same note, I just want to be the first to say that in my "unhappy moody moments", I would still like to vent about the crappy effects of being pregnant!!!!!!!!! Wink Laughing For example: Cellulite growing on my already larger than life butt! Rolling Eyes
