hey girls,
i was just wondering, in the beginning of
my pregnancy i was working full-time as a
waitress. i did this until i was about
13-wk's, when i quit because my boss
refused to cut back my hours or allow me a
break. i worked one shift that lasted nine
& a half hours! i also quit because i
noticed that i oozed a lot of brown
discharge whenever i worked. sorry if that
is tmi. between the running around &
carrying of heavy trays, i guess my body
couldn't handle it? [when i brought it up
with the doctor, they didn't seem too
concerned, even though i was freaked
out].
will i still be able to get medicaid if
i'm currently unemployed? or do i have to
have a job in order to qualify? it might
sound like a dumb question, i know, but
the application says it offers aid to
"low-income" families, it doesn't say
anything about being unemployed. i have
provided a letter of support, stating that
i do get help from others.
idk, i just figured someone on here could
explain this to me. thank you!

when i applied for .medicaid i was
unemployed. i got accepted!

Medicaid is basically for the
unemployed!
if you got accepted employed, then you
apparenly didn't make enough money to
cover the expences of having a baba!!
Now's the time where you relax and *enjoy*
your pregnancy!!

Yep, you can get it. I quit my job mid
pregnancy for similiar reasons as you and
I still have it.
