I can see no relationsship with birth
control pills and antidepressants. One
stops the body grom producing eggs in
which you are to fertilize to get
pregnant, the other, produces adequate
levels of some caca or other to embalance
the chemical in your brain tol level out
the chemical embalance. Depression had
realively nothing to do with taking a pill
to keep from getting pregnant. Unles you
are severely depressed and depending on
what medications you are prescribed, then
I woujd leave thsi up to a
paraprofessional for
answers...................

Yes i can tell you first hand that birth
control can make depression worse
Before i started taking orthro evera. I
was depressed, but for the most of it i
could mannage my depression. A week and a
half latter I felt more sad and more
moody, I was starting fights with my
boyfriend and crying all the time for no
reason. My boyfriend became worried and
brought it to my attention. Anyways as
soon as i got off I was back to my normal
state of depression. Just to let you know
i have tried 7, one including> well i
forget the name of it right now but it was
a special light dose, I mean extra light.
I got the same effect. But everyone is
diffrent so you may still be able to find
something that can help. Good luck
hang in there.
