Those are soo cool and cute and wow! the things they can do these days. I cant imagine how you felt seeing these as it was happening...

wow those are amazing! I'm so jelious of everyone who gets 4d's done. Also is it just me or does looking at 4d scans make them think of a lava lamp too

I loved having the 4 D ultrasounds done. It was so cool to see him in there, and it was amazing to see that he really looked like that when he was born.

I think cost depends on your insurance (at least here in the states). Some insurances won't pay for them at all unless they are ordered by your doc to see if there is a problem. I had to have them done because I had too much amniotic fluid and the doc wanted to make sure it wasn't harming .Jaylon.

Cute baby. I love pudgy baby cheeks!! They just opened a 3d ultrasound place here but it costs over $200 so I can't afford it. I am going for one more ultrasound in a few weeks though. My doc said I didn't need it but she would send me anyway. My other scan was at 20 weeks and they found a huge tumour in my abdomen that time so it wasn't really a positive experience. This time we will be able to see the baby a lot better.

I had mine done right up until my last week and he just looked cuter and cuter. I think they are the best 30 weeks and up, because they have chub on them and don't look like aliens anymore

The office i got it done at was called baby's first ultrasound and this is the second time i had it done..the first was at 16 weeks and it was 80 bucks then they give you 50 $ off if you come in again so we ended up paying 100 the second time but that was for a video, 118 images on a computer disk, an album, a 8by 10 enlargment and a few other things.. we went on thursday night and had a lady who was new and couldnt get any pictures of her face so we went back in firiday morning to a more experianced lady and it made all the difference in the world.. It was amazing to watch her.. open and close her mouth and rub her eyes. ahhh i cant wait for her to get here!! brian and i are now getting anxious to meet her!
they suggested that you get the second one done between 29-31 weeks because after that your fluid levels drain and the baby gets too big to be able to get a good picture.. thats what their office says anyways. I would recommend for anyone to do this because it is amazing to see.. at my shower i had the 8 X10 in a frame with the mat that people could sign around it and everybody wrote her a note .. My shower was amazing!!! everything went so well and we made out!! i think all we have left to get now is her carseat/stroller combo and we are set.. Although i must admit by the end of the day i was ready for it to be over so i could go crash somewhere lol.. it took alot out of me! but it was awesome to have everyone i care about there .. I made brian hang around too so that everyone could meet him (not many of my friends had) and his buddy came up with his wife and kids and it turned out so good.. i had alcohol at my shower so everyone was just having a good time.. ANyways happy mothers day to everybody!!!
