the thought of greasy food makes me feel ill. I was being quick whle making dinner last night so i just put some fish fingers in batter and chips in the oven (i was finally fiding out who killed tom king in emmerdale as was not going to miss it Laughing ) and it took me hours to get to sleep because the heartburn was so bad and i felt sick at the thought of what i'd eaten. I'm strange thoguh i can eat really spicy cury and not get heartburn, my mum always tells me off for asking for curry because she's like 'you're just asking for heartburn .Danni' but curry's the only thing that doesn't give me heartburn

It wouldn't be bad for the baby but it's very acidic so it would be more likely to make heartburn worse, i'm going to be prescibed something next tuesday i think

i just called him to verify the info to make sure i got it right. but he said. you get heartburt becasue you don't have enough acid in you tummy or whatever. so you take anti-acid to deplete all the acid then youbrain lets you tummy know you don've have acid so it makes acid for you. so he said instead of doing all that he found drinking pickles (for the vinagar mostly) and add a little acid to you tummy, it take less time. but thats what he always told me and he had it not alot but often and when he drinks pickle juice almost like 15 minutes later its gone or almost gone

sorry but you are talking rubbish sweetheart.

heartburn is when your stomach acid backs up the oesophagus and burns the lining.
you take an antacid to neutralise the acid in your stomach.

**edit to add**

this has gone very off topic and has been locked
