I cant imagine feeling this crap for another few weeks.

i'm like one step down from throwing up all day everyday and there have been a few times when i've had to do a run to the toilet.

The dry biscuits in the morning before i get out of bed are not working in fact some mornings makes me feel worse cause of the after taste in my mouth.

i'm constantly hungry and i try to eat before the hunger pains come back but give it an hour after i have eaten i am literally starving again. Its getting to the stage that i'm so scik of eating. I just cant seem to keep up with my body.

My poor fiancee!! i must be a terrible person to live with right now. Is there any other advise anyone can give me to help me through this first trimester. Cause right now i'm not enjoying this pregnancy one little bit. Sad

Some women feel that way for their entire pregnancy. When it does go away enjoy it. Enjoy your second trimester, because the third brings a host of new pains.

Staying hydrated is very important. Very.

You should try eating small meals throughout the day instead of a couple large meals. If you can't do this then you should keep crackers (maybe with cheeses) with you to snack on as well. Your nausea can become worse if you let yourself become hungry.

Ginger is recommended (though I can't stand it) either in candy or in drops or even tea, can sooth your stomach. Personally, peppermint has always worked for me. (But that may be just me).

Also, you may want to bring it up to your doctor at you next appt if it gets to bad. There are medications for it.

Are you taking any prenatal vitamins?

Some people think being pregnant is the greatest experience they ever could dream of. I wouldn't say it sucked, because later on you will feel your baby move and that is so wonderful. You'll have ultrasounds and hear the heartbeat. Those things are great!! The end result is a beautiful baby, which is the best gift of all.

I personally didn't enjoy being pregnant.

Sour apples with salt helped my all day sickness some. Some of the girls here say that peppermint candy helps, ginger ale, and saltine crackers helped them. There are lots of remedies for morning sickness, but it will pass. One day you will wake up and you won't feel sick anymore.
Until then, good luck to you!!!!!

Oh yes ginger ale worked wonders for me, ok it made me a little bloated but i felt alot better. One tip i've found during pregnancy is always keep a pack of mints in your handbag because for me they helped when i was feeling sick in the first trimester and are now helping me through the heartburn in my thired trimester

How far along are you? I remember I felt like crap literally all day from 6-14 weeks. But you will seriously wake up one day and it will be completely gone. I promise! That first trimester is *very* rough, but it honestly is worth all the pain. Just try to eat light meals, and like someone mentioned before, ginger ale helped me quite a bit. I know it sucks right now, but hang in there! It won't last forever!

I had a water bottle, sour candy and lemon suckers with me everywhere I went. I probably looked kinda weird with a lollipop in my mouth all day long but it definitely helped the nausea. I would always get really nauseous when I had to go into a public washroom or if I was around someone who had a body smell on the bus (like food or cigarettes) so I would keep a tissue or handkercheif with some aromatherapy oil sprayed on it. I found grapefruit was the most helpful smell but I also had peppermint and lavendar. I tried the ginger candy but I found that flat ginger ale worked really well. I am so glad that part of my pregnancy is over, but I can't say that made me not like being pregnant. Seems to me this is the easy part and once the baby is here the real work starts! I don't know how I'm going to manage with all those diaper changes, I don't do well with things that smell bad. Hopefully I will get used to it or my mommy instincts will kick in or something!! Good luck with the nausea, I hope it goes away soon.

This may sound weird but I think that 7up got me through the worst of it.

I don't think being pregnant is all that it is cracked up to be and I will start complaining but then I feel .Luke kick and I remember that it is all worth it.

It really does get better!

I vomited so bad that I lost 30 pounds in two months in my last pregnancy...Nothing worked...Even rectal supposorities that were inserted to calm my stomach, I vomited...The last resort before they took the baby was a shot at the hospital every day...That finally did it...It was jut plain terrible...But, oh how I love that child...
