I recently had a blood test that revealed my blood platelet count was 143,000 my doctor was not worried, should I be or get another opinion? Thanks, Bill

no you shouldn't be worryed platelet counts are normally between 150000-250000 so you are only slightly under.l have itp which is low platelets and mine were 50000 and dropping but with the correct medication mine rose slightly but l am fine.so don't worry.
