How Athletes can Use Arnica Oil Posted: 05-17-07 07:27am
Arnica Massage Oil
Athletes use Arnica Oil before and after a
hard workout to reduce soreness, swelling
and bruising, and massage therapists use
Arnica Oil on their tender/sore clients.
Midwives massage Arnica Oil into the
perineum and surrounding tissue to reduce
swelling, soreness and bruising during
crowning of the baby's head. We have many
mothers thank us for using Arnica oil
rather than plain Olive oil, they can feel
the difference afterward!.
Our Arnica flowers are selectively
wildcrafted in the early summer from
Washington state. While still fresh and
succulent, the flowers are expressed into
an oil to create a topical remedy to treat
severe bruises, sore muscles, sprains,
fractures, joint pain and stiffness.
Arnica Oil draws fresh blood to the
surface and breaks up congested fluid to
heal severe bruising of the skin,
following surgery or injuries. Do not
apply to open wounds.
Toning and warming skin care. Helps
restore tired, aching muscles before and
after physical activity. This preferred
choice of massage therapists throughout
the world is formulated with rejuvenating
biodynamic Arnica Extract and organic
Birch Leaf Extract.
Arnica Oil is primarily for external use:
Arnica oil use as a footbath for tender
feet. Arnica Oil for abdominal pain (hot
compress) for arthritis. Arnica oil for
bruises. Arnica oil for chill blains (if
skin is unbroken). Arnica Oil a oil for
irritation from trauma. Arnica oil for
muscle or cartilage pain. Arnica oil for
rheumatism.Arnica oil for sore or painful
joints. Arnica oil for sprains. Arnica oil
for swellings. And is used as an oil,
salve, tincture. Arnica Oil works by:
Dispersing trapped, disorganized fluids
from bumped and bruised tissue, joints and
muscles. Stimulating the activity of white
blood cells that relieve congested blood
cells washing and cleansing wounds (very
diluted).
Ingredients Of Arnica Oil:
Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Oil,
Olea Europaea (Olive) Fruit Oil
Unsaponisables, Parfum (Fragrance)*,
Arnica Montana Flower Extract, Betula Alba
Leaf Extract, Limonene*, Linalool*,
Geraniol*, Coumarin*.
Arnica Oil:
Massage into effected areas as needed.
Repeat 2-3 times per day or as needed.
Arnica works best if applied in full
concentration to the problematic area. It
is less effective if applied all over the
body as massage oil. Use a different oil
for a massage (i.e. almond oil) and arnica
on the painful area.

Knee Protection Posted: 08-18-08 21:54pm
Whenever I jump over the height of the
basketball rim, I feel pain in my right
knee. It will go away after a week but
always return when I put pressure on it. I
am 45 year of age and have a 33 inch
vertical which is unusual. What can I do
to protect my right knee?
