Hi im a 24 year old living away from home
(abroad). My father was diagnosed with
prostate cancer after christmas this year
and some cancer had entered the spine. He
has been on hormone treatment since
diagnoses which has resulted in his PSA
levels decreasing to 7. Since that however
it has gone 11, 20 and the most recent
reading (today) of 200.
Can anyone shed some light on what the
next step is? I know its serious but how
serious is it excatly (I hear life
expectency figure which arent too
promising)?
To be honest I have just started a job and
was trying not to let it get me down but i
feel like I cant put it off any longer &
need to find out as much as possible now.
Your help would be much appreciated
