Okay, I am late on my period, and these
home test keep saying negative, and I
still haven't had my period...If I go to
the planned parenthood office in my
neighborhood, will they be able to tell
before the at home test?

How late are you? Yhey may be able to
tell earlier by a blood test. But it all
depends on how far along you are. My home
test never came back positive until I was
about 5 weeks pregnant.
Good luck.

On occasion, the hcg levels are not high
enough to be detected by a home pregnancy
test, whereas they will show up on a blood
test. When in doubt, have the blood
test.

But... Posted: 09-01-03 11:30am
Well, I am only 18, so my medical is under
my parents name, and my doctor wouldn't
give me a blood test without her
permission, because she pays the
bills....Is there anywhere else I go to
get a blood test

try a planned parenthood in your area.
They should be able to help you out, and
they won't tell your parents.
