I am sorry if this is a stupid question, because I am kind of a nervous person. But starting a couple (or maybe 3) days ago, the baby's kicks (i am 25 weeks) haven't been as strong or frequent. Nothing has changed as far as diet or anything, and I am still feeling them throughout the whole day, just not as often and they are not as strong.
i really don't understand.\
I would call my doctor but I figured I would come on here and maybe you girls might be able to relate.
thank you katieflower

I don't really have any help as I've never been pregnant (dh and I are working on that one) but I hope that everything works out for you. These forums are a little dead on the weekends so you might have better luck tomorrow. If you are worried at all go ahead and call your doctor.

my baby does that sometimes too, she moves around a lot for a few days then kinda goes slow for a few days...my mum says its because when shes less active shes growing or something like that, not sure if its true or not though

if your worried call your doctor, somehing may be wrong, it may not be, you never know, thats what the doc is there for anyway right?

her momvement is becoming restriced due to her growing body.

Once you hit about 30 weeks, the little movements become the jarring of your entire stomach!

It's freaky!! You'll literally see your entire belly go from left to right, down to up!!

The same thing happened with me, my girl was always popping around like a little firecracker in there! Then it really slowed down, but I still felt her and I agree that it's becuiase she's growing. There isn't as much room for the babe to pop around anymore, now the movements you feel will be more like lumps in your tummy ... and in a couple of weeks it will really start to get uncomfortable!
I was so used to cutesy fluttery little taps that now at 34 weeks her rolling and flipping is quite the strange sensation and when she get's to pushing on my hips and ribs... I literally sit here frozen because it's such an icky feeling!
No worries hun! The babe is just getting bigger... but they say if you don't feel right or notice a *drastic* change in movements notify your doc, it doesn't ever hurt anyone if you voice your concerns.
Also try kick counts ... those can put your mind at ease well and you'll know when to call your doctor and when things are most likely a-ok!

I had a bit of a panic at about 27 weeks or so because it seemed like the baby wasn't moving at all. So I did a kick count. Before that I could count 10 kicks in 10 seconds but this time they were few and far between but they were still there, I just had to lie still and pay attention. Then after that they went back to normal pretty much, just a little less than before. Like others said, the movements change when they have less room to move around in there. Now it's like squiggly, squirmy movements and pushing more than the kicks I was getting before. Sometimes it tickles and sometimes it gives me shivers. I hope everything goes back to normal for you too, maybe the baby was just having a lazy day like mine was.

thank you so much ladies.
you truly helped put my mind at ease.
I try not to be such a worry wart but I am sure some of you can relate!
In the beginning, I was so nervous, praying that nothing would happen to my baby. Then, it was me worrying about if the baby was growing right.
Then worrrying about this and that.
But thank you for your input, it definitely helped me out on this one!
