i have recently started taking cipramil,
which belongs to the citaroplam class of
anit-depressants (SSRI's) to help with my
depression.
i started on a 10MG dose and it seemed to
work instantly, from the very first day i
started taking it. I felt much better and
it really helped with my problem. the only
side affect i was having was trouble
sleeping
however, after about 2-3 days the affects
seemed to dissapate and i returned to my
previous low mood (my problem sleeping
also dissapeared). i kept taking the same
dose for about 2 weeks and things didnt
change. i went back to my doctor who
prescribed me with 20MG.
once i started taking these i started
feeling better again. I seemed to be going
through the same cycle as with the 10MG
dose because i was having trouble sleeping
again. but jsut as before the effects only
seemed to last about 2-3 days before
returning to my low mood.
any idea what might be causing this? do i
need a stronger dose or is it just that im
immune to the affects of these drugs?

Probably because there is not a magic cure
for depression with a pill. Too many
people look to "soften" the effects of
depression with a pill -- However; it
takes more than a pill to remedy
depression!!! It takes a lifestyle
change, dietary changes, etc... Your mind
and body need to be right, not just have
some feelings supressed by a pill because
it will only come back around -- all it
does is sustain for a little bit until
your body adapts then guess what
happens??? You get put on another pill,
its a sham!!!
Take a look at this link for some dietary
recommendations as well as some
alternative care remedies as well for
depression.
BEST OF LUCK!
Really read up on the information and try
some of the pointers -- it is not magic!
It is a sound body and mind that will get
you back to normal!!!
