A BIT OF A LONG POST BUT PLEASE TAKE TIME
OUT TO HAVE A SCAN THRU AND HELP...THANKS
Hey guys. I was in the last week of taking
my microgynon 30 21 day pills. On day
19...2 pill days before my 7 day break...i
had sex...(no condom obv coz im on th
pill)...I TOOK ALL THE PILLS CORRECTLY
PRIOR TO HAVING SEX AND TOOK IT THE DAY OF
SEX but the morning after sex i missed the
pill by 14hours.
I carried on taking the last two pills
before coming off for my 7 day break. I
then had a bit of bleeding when i was
supposed to altho it kept stopping and
starting over the 7 days.
Because i missed a pill during the last
week could i be pregnant? Or am i ok
because i didnt have sex the day of the
missed pill?
Please help. I took a preg test 14 days
(2weeks) after sex and it was neg but then
waited and tested again 23 days after the
incident (over 3 weeks) and it was neg
again. Experiancing no symptoms. But need
advice as im really scared. Im finding it
hard to get over fears of pregnancy.

I think you're fine... you can always take
one more test after this next period, and
if it was going to come out positive,
that's when it would do it for sure

You only missed the pill by 14 hours,
which is almost a missed pill.
With almost all pills, if you only miss
ONE, you are okay, and zero action is
needed.
You are okay because 14 hours is still
within your level of protection.

thought anything after 12 hours is a
missed pill?

I'm not sure about your particular pill,
but like Eiri said, with most pills, even
if you miss 1, you are ok. Just follow the
directions on the box to make it up. If
you miss more than one, you have to worry,
but you're probably fine.
So yes , you did miss a pill. But you are
still fine.

You are okay because although it is a
missed pill, you are okay as long as you
only miss one.
