I'm just trying to remind myself. It seems
simple enough, I preach it to people
almost everyday, then here I am just
confusing myself all to hell.
I buy the internet cheapie tests off ebay.
(I'm a poasaholic) And there cheap enough
that I can take them as often as I like.
Well I took one this morning (not with
fmu) and gave it about a minute. I saw a
control line but no positive. So I just
threw it away. I was talking with some of
the girls on the getting pregnant forum.
And One of the girls there got a faint
line after the time frame. Well, about two
girls popped up saying that they had never
gotten an evap line on these tests (even
after checking the next day). I have
personally checked many
tests after hours and even some the next
day. There has never been a second line
not even faint. So to prove my point I
went back about an hour after I had taken
it and there was a second line. Not a
faint line a bold second line. So, I'm now trying
to remind myself that it is an evap line
and that the results aren't valid. I just
kinda need to hear it from someone else.

i'm sorry, im not trying to get your hopes
up, but my cousin had been trying to get
pregnant for 5 years and she took test
after test just like you, and she took
one... and threw it away because it was
negative and for some reason ended up
checking back and looking at it and it was
positive! and she was pregnant with
triplets lol but they'd been doing
invetro-stuff for a while, too.
sigh, im really not trying to get your
hopes up, but i hope soethings happened.

Yup, that's what I'm going to do.
I have joked all along that I would get my
bfp just before my bday. And tomorrow is
my bday, so it would be so ironic if that
happened. But I would be exstatic. I will
just have to keep reminding myself until
tomorrow.

The same thing happened to me with my
first child. I checked the test a few
minutes later and didn't see a line. I
checked it about 30 minutes to an hour
later and saw a bold line...I took two
pregnancy tests after that the next day
and I was pregnant.
A few years later (about a year ago) I did
the same thing. I checked about 30 minutes
later just to make sure I wasn't pregnant
and I saw a faint line. I thought for sure
I was pregnant. That ended up being an
evaporation line. I was devastated.

Thanks guys. I really just need someone to
tell me not to jump to conclusions. I
already knew it, it just helps to hear it
from someone else sometimes.
I think I would be devestated too if I
really thought I was pregnant and it was
an evap line.

.i really hope this
is it for you, .christy! You have a lot
more control than I do. I would have
already tested again as well as tomorrow
morning. Then again, seeing bfn's are
really devastating.
I'm keeping my fingers crossed for you!

LOL... I would have tested again, except I
am at work and I used the last test that
was in my purse this morning. If I
can hold it long enough I will test when I
get home. But I can't seem to hold it
longer than 1-2 hours at a time and that's
when I'm trying.
Actually, bfn dont bother me to much. I
really never thought I had a chance. Now
if I get one tomorrow I might be a little
disappointed. But that is why I keep
repeating to myself...this is to good to
be true....this is to good to be true. I
just hope it works!

The fact it's turned into a bold line is
hopeful, any evap lines I've ever had have
been pretty faint (hold up to the light in
all angles kind of faint )
Good luck!!!

Is their an 800# you can call and ask? Can
you afford to buy a better test or maybe
go to the dr and get a blood test or just
a regular test to know for sure? Did your
hubby get a job? Have you been feeling
okay? any pregnancy signs? It would be so
great for you to find out that you are
pregnant on your Birthday!
It would be great if Sarah is pregnant
too!
Baby(sticky) dust to you .Christy, Sarah,
Kia and whoever else wishes to be
pregnant! I will keep my fingers crossed
for you .Christy because #1, you are
always willing to help others, just like
.Sarah and #2 tomorrow is your birthday
and what a great birthday present! #3 I
feel you deserve a baby(I think you would
be a great Mom)!

Yeah, I might go buy a digital test
tonight. That way I wont have any room for
guessing. I have already put a call in to
my dr and am waiting for them to call
back. If I'm not pregnant then I need to
start my period so they will need to give
me some provera.(blech) But if I am, I
already have an appt on april 18th to
check on the cyst and I've been taking
prenatals for 5 months. So I'm good to go
either way.
But it would be a good bday present. But
then everyone would know. Not
drinking would be a dead
giveaway...."OH...I just don't want to
drink on my 21st bday"
