I learned a slightly disturbing fact
today.
Did you know? The vibrator was invented in
the late 1800's by French doctors who were
trying to cure women of "hysteria"?
(basically, being crazy). They hypnotized
the women and the women acted out
pornographic movements and poses, so the
doctors found out that clitoral
stimulation to the point of orgasm "cured"
hysteria. Gee, I wonder why  Well anyway, the
doctors didn't like having to actually
manually masturbate all these women, so
they invented vibrating tools to do it for
them.

Yeah- they thought hysteria came from a
woman's uterus wandering around their
body, and orgasms would keep their uterus
from roaming. Note the similarity in
words- "hysteria" "hysterectomy" "hyst-"
means uterus.
Unfortunately, this bias is still somewhat
present in our medical language-
histrionic personality disorder, for
example.

I agree. I get Hysteria if i dont orgasm
for a few weeks lol! I have a collection

Oh god your not the only one lol, I'm
addicted to my bullet toy. It's an egg

different websites. i get embarrassed
easily and so does DH so that is the only
