Update On Me
Posted: 05-22-07 11:16am

well, I've got my gyn scan tomorrow at 10am.
I am currently on day 55 of my actual period.
I am moody and hormonal.
My depression has been quite bad recently.
Saturday night (I think it was) I hit hysteria levels and pretty much freaked out.

Laura thank you for being there to hold the pieces together at that moment in time.

Once all this is done with I think I'm going to consider weightloss surgury.
I know it's my portion control that is the problem, and I have identified that I don't actually feel "full".

I'm not a snacker nor do I eat sweets and chocolate and crisps frequently.

Today I had an egg/sausage sandwich for breakfast (7am), it's now 5.21pm and I haven't eaten anything since (not unsual). I am making a beef stew for dinner (beef, potatoes, sweetcorn, tomatoes, yorkshire pudding).

I hope they will be able to tell you something usefull tomorrow. That is the appt with the specialist right?

Day 55 of your actual period, as in that is how long you have been bleeding? Confused I would be a royal b about everything if I were you. So you are handling it better than I would.

nope the specialist is next month - this is the dude who is going to poke foreign objects in my vagina and try to look at my insides Shocked

well, yes he is a specialist, but he's not the reproductive endocrinologist chappie Wink

and yup 55 days of bleeding - and I am a right royal bi*ch about it lmao

it's one of those things now where by it would be funny if it wasn't so damn inconvenient.
at least it's slowed up again now, saturday was more than a little heavy, which caused my hysterical panic.

Are they going to do a tv ultrasound? Those can be very helpful, especially if the tech is willing to explain what you are looking at.

I know you don't know me well. But I am always here for you if you need me.

yup, going to be an abdominal and transvaginal scans and goodness knows what else...

he's supposedly going to be looking to see exactly what bits I do have and don't have and where those bits are, how big they are, what shape they are, what they are connected to and so on

I just had one when I was in the hospital. The tech was great. He explained what everything was. How big it was or what it should be. I told him we were ttc and he went through the whole process, showing me were everything happens and stuff. It was great to see it from that angle. I hope you get a tech as nice as he was.

Kia, I can't imagine what you are going through. I really hope that they figure it out soon. My goodness, do you have problems with your iron or are you on supplements? I can't imagine having a period for that long. I get so hormonal from a normal period.

Take care,

Karin
