Wierd Guy !

Okay, so I figured it was my turn to write a random post and a little bit of a vent. So I work at a hospital and I am the main information desk receptionist, right now we have a temporary desk right next to the sliding glass doors to go outside, because they are remodeling the lobby..anyway a lot of my co-workers were skeptical about being so close to the front door with safety issues and potentially being a target to dangerous people, especially since we are kind of blocked off from the rest of the hospital and noone can really see us here, aslo the evening shift goes till 9pm. I am one of the only people available to work this shift, along with two others, but then one lady mad such a fuss now there are only 2 of us that can work here in the evening. I am here almost every night by myself at the desk until 9pm. I am not one to be paranoid or scared to work here under these conditions and I have access to security people if something were to happen. I haven't had any threatening people come in, so I don't feel unsafe. There is one guy though that has been coming in lately. I don't think he is dangerous, but he seems a little off and he says crazy things when he comes in. He will come in or walk by the desk and say really loudly(almost yelling) and point at me and say stuff like " She starts fights with little kids, I seen it" or " I seen her make kids cry" or "She picks fights with people and yells at them, she's not very nice". Ugh, I know he is joking, but its really getting on my nerves and I just ignore it, but its like everytime I see him I am like oh great, him....Then just a few min ago, he came in and walked by me and said " Yes I bite, no I haven't had my rabies shot"
Maybe he is trying to be funny, or something, but besides the comments(the really loud and pointing fingers) he just seems off to me, a lil crazy weird. I just hope he doesn't decide to start hanging around by the front desk and talking to me, its creepy.
Anyway, I don't know why I wanted to write about this, but I am just annoyed right now, I don't want to be at work and top it off I have to deal with this creepy guy, ugh.

Just when I thought he was gone for the night. He comes up and says..
" Which way to the county zoo?" what??? Then he walked around the corner walked back to me and said.. " You know thats going to make you go bald, sitting there like that" hahahaha. Omg, I know this is a dumb post.

I am not sure if there is anything mentaly wrong with him( there could be) and I would just feel bad now for complaining if he cant help it or control it. Maybe he thinks thats how he is being friendly, I dunno. It does make me feel uncomfortable though.

I hate when people think they're funny but they're only loud and obnoxious, and they go out of their way to get your attention and don't take any hints that you're not digging it. Then again, .I'm easily annoyed. Neutral

thats kinda creepy. does anyone you work with know about this guy? he could be alittle off in his head , you never know, but id make sure the people in charge know about him. Maybe they could possibly find out who he is etc. But its better to be safe then sorry, i had a stalker at my work in fla, we hadan idea of who he is , one day he sat in his car in front of the store lookin through his rear view mirror for a couple hrs, he called daily and talked to me and a few other of the 20 somthing yr old girls here. he always asks weird questions like do u like to hold hands , kiss etc, if u werent married would u ever kiss me , creepy stuff like that, i left to nc for 10 mths and came back to that store to work again and he was still calling there! my manager knew about it, but we couldnt do anything about it because he never did anything and never came into the store that we knew of. But its good to let people know the situation in case it becomes something more serious.

wait up so is this guy a patient? a worker? or a random member of public who just happens to drop by the hospital?

I'd class him as a definate potential risk.

hun please talk to your employers - make sure they know about this guy and make sure they know TODAY!

Yeah I will definantely mention him to security and my co-workers when I go in today. I am not sure if he is a patient, but he could be part of an out patient progam that meets a couple of times a week.

I get so annoyed easily too and stuff like this happens to me because I am young and cute, grr. I take public transportation and so I get stufff like that on the train. Creepy guys make random comments about " If I were younger I would ask you out" most of the time you can tell they are intoxicated in some way.

Thanks for all the reply's, I though about it more last night and will definately let people know what is going on with him.
