Now I understand when people are tring to
warn people but when ur 13 14 15 16 or 21
and your going through hard times the
least thing you want someone telling you
is how hard its going to be, that there
babies having babies, and how they did
this wrong and that wrong, we need someone
to help us stand up in life
im 14 and preg I know its hard but ive
only survived because of that one out of
one hundred people that have told me that
everythings gonna be ok and that you can
get through this
if anyone at all needs to talk PM me.

People tell them how hard its going to be
cuz its the truth... What would you
rather hear? " oh its a peice of cake" or
" its going to be the most difficult thing
uve ever done" now if ur a smart @$$ ud
say the first one, but most people would
be greatfull to hear the truth and hear
the possibilities instead of finding out
themselves... Im 16, 4 months pregnant, n
I wanna know all I can... These "girls"
ask for our help an opinions... We tell
them what we think is right... You dont
think they are going to hear this stuff we
tell them from their parents and friends?
They hear it, so its nothing new to them..

Your right you get told that alot but it
is the truth. If you make seem pregnancy
and raising a child easy think about how
many young girls would think twice before
using protection because they have a
unreal view of what pregnancy is like.

Hey!! I completely agree with you!!!!!
Of course it will be hard but I think
everyone already figured that out! There
are so many good things to go along with
pregnancy!!! When I first came on here a
lot of people gave me a hard time but
there were a few that wished me luck the
whole way through and were there for me
even when I miscarraiged and I thank those
people. Good luck sweetie!!! ~misty

I know it will be hard, but i'm ready for
it. I've seen what my cousin has gone
through with her 2 children and how happy
she is. I know that I will have little
chance of going on to have a great career,
but all I want to be is a cook and a wife
to my loving and very special 'fiance'.
I've changed countless diapers, bathed
screaming babies, carried them around for
up to an hour trying to hum them to sleep.
Lost countless nights of sleep and been
woken up at 3 am for a diaper change and a
feeding. I know how to make bottles and
how not to 'play' with babies as if they
were capable of telling you things are not
right when you swing them around. I've
recently been caring for my 2 year old
baby cousin and my 3 1/2 year old baby
cousin (both of which are screamers and
late night cryers) so I know how hard it
is! I've been with them since the day
they were born and they've even called me
mommy a few times. That's why I want my
own baby.

I dont think anyone is saying that
motherhood isn't wonderful, because it
truly is. There are just things to take
into consideration before you decide on
having a family.

But do you want to handle that the rest of
your life of taking care of another when
you can wait? Tennesse, please wait. I
know you want one but its alot of
responsibility.

Teens sometimes think that they want a
child for the right reasons but all they
really want is someone to love and be
loved by. At least this is what I have
found working with many of them. Once you
get to the root of why they want the child
it has nothing to do with the baby itself.
Just my thought

I think tanya is right. Wanting a baby
because they are cute and you can love
them and they will love you in return is
not a good reason to have one. It is so
much more than that. You need money,
medical care, dental care in the future
(insurance), a place to live plus
furniture. Always have food on the table.
Just because you have 15,000 saved up
does not mean youll be wealthy forever,
that may only cover, like what...One year?
What about the rest of your life? You
have to be a good cook, house cleaner and
know alot of things from dealing with
teething, constipation, sickness and any
other things. Its not a peice of cake.
Please think twice about having a baby.
