i think what started it all was that rosie
said something to elisabeth along the
lines of, "665,000 iraqis (sp) are dead,
who's the terrorist now?". elisabeth took
this to mean rosie was calling our troops
terrorists but rosie was implying bush is
the terrorist.
that's what i got from it anyway.
edit: ok, i read up on it more (i don't
really watch the show, i usually just have
it on in the background)...
i think what rosie was saying was that we
invaded iraq, who do they
think are the terrorists.

I don't watch the show a lot but .I think
they tape .Friday's show earlier in the
week so they probably won't discuss
anything again until .Monday's show. I
missed it today.

well today's show was pre-recorded, as all
friday shows are.
as for monday's show...

she quit.
i don't particularly care for rosie but i
will admit she's the only reason i watched
the show. the show's been on for like 10
years and this is the first season i've
watched regularly.
oh well.

Ehhh.
This is exactly why I don't discuss
politics and abortion with my friends. It
always turns ugly and becomes personal.
I think .Rosie took it a bit too far with
.Elisabeth personally, so if she wants to
throw a hissy fit and quit, good riddance
to her. Elisabeth didn't get rude or start
with name-calling, and here .Rosie comes
with calling her cowardly and "the media's
going to spin this the wrong way" and blah
blah blah. Childish.
Buh bye, .Rosie. Take your drama with you,
please.
