Just the other day only an hour and a half from where i live a girl walked into the .Walmart and gave birth in the toilet stall. The .Walmart manager went into the bathroom and found the baby in the toilet and gave in .C.P.R.....The baby was then taken too .Saskatoon hospital where till now remains in serious but stable condition ....they have been making a plea too the mother too turn herself in as there concerned she might be needing medical attention.....makes me so sad when i hear stuff like this ...i wish there was a safe place for these girls too be able too go instead of having too do stuff like this ...our cities are now starting too put together a safe place ....the mother that left her baby outside this winter is now seeing a counselor and is seeking the help she needs.

There are safe places that take in pregnant girls. In fact whenever I was growing up my parents took in pregnant teenage girls all the time. They would live with us till they had the baby and then my parents would help them get a good job. I think that more could probably be done to reach out to them though.

In .fl you can leave a baby at a police station, fire station or church (i believe) with no explanation and no charges will be filed. I think that should be in place everywhere to keep things like this from happening (or at least lessen the occurance)

Thats the same up here (in the 3 states i've lived in .Iowa, .South .Dakota, and .Minnesota) you can leave them at a police station, fire houe or hospital.

Thats horrible. I really want to cry. I think things like this are so senceless. Honestly, all this girl had to do was call someone like me, who wants a child, and the child would have had a wonderful loving home and she could have gone on about her way. But instead she killed her child and ruined the rest of her life.

*Then nevermind....lol...I hope the baby survives.

i don't know anyone could give birth in a bathroom and just leave the baby behind.

Sad

and how does one give birth in a public bathroom? i hear a lot of stories like this and i always wonder if they just skip labor and the baby just slips right out.

I hope that my labor is that easy. I would think that she would've made allot of noise if she was having a baby.

That was always my impression as well...but my sister in law had a quick labor/delivery and hardly said boo. It's too bad the women that don't want their baby have a quick easy labor (usually) and they are the ones that deserve to have a long drawn out labor that is painful. Evil or
Very Mad

its so sad that some would do an innoent harmless child that way. I mean theres women in this world that will never be able to have a baby and would love to have that child. I hope carma hits her.

karma probably already did.
often times girls in these type of situations have been raped - possibly by a family member.

They have blocked everything out and hidden the pregnancy.
then come birth they are so detached that they just walk away in a daze.

I think most states in the USA allow you to leave a baby at a church, hospital, fire station, police station, etc.
It is also legal in the UK.

did you hear about the lady over here in the tampa area who on mothers day left her 2 or 3 day old infant at a firehouse and then a couple days later came back for it..as if theyre FREE babysitters...not sure if she got her baby back but in my personal opinion she shouldnt have untill a psych evaluation was done.
