Hi Ladies...
I'm new here, this is my 1st posting, So I
wanted to Start by Saying "hello"...
I suffered from Endometrosis from my very
first period, at the age of 12. And by the
age of 23 I was going through a Full
Hysterectomy. It had to be one of the
hardest decisions of my life to make. At
23 your thinking about having a family,
being married, and planning out your next
60 or so years, not about having a full
hysterectomy.
It is a very hard decision for any woman
of any age to cope with, and the thing I
don't hear alot about is how you feel
afterwards. By that I mean, the mood
swings, the depression, the panic attacks,
the feeling of not never baring a child,
the questions, and wether or not you'll do
Hormone replacement. Then you still will
have to deal with the low energy, and
sleepless nites, and the Hot Flashes.
Now they are saying that woman shouldn't
be on HRT for long periods of time so what
are we suppose to do, suffer I guess, or
chance it.
Anyway, I believe you need to do what you
feel will benfiet you in the long run.I'm
not trying to scare you by telling you all
the negative stuff, but I hate to see you
go in without some knowledge of how it
maybe afterwards. I wish you the best, and
keep us updated. If you have any questions
please feel free to email me anytime....
