Period Question
Posted: 05-25-07 16:34pm

I remember someone on here before saying something about being able to take some pill or something that would hold back your period for a week or so, I can't remember for the life of me who was talking about it but I was wondering what you guys new about that. The reason .I'm asking is because I turn 21 at the end of .July & .I'm going to end up having my period that weekend & I don't want it for my birthday because I wanna have birthday sex lol. Laughing

The only thing that I know about holding back your period is going on birth control and skipping a couple pills to make your period come later. You would have to talk to your doctor about that tho

Yeah, I only know about skipping some traditional birth control pills, or taking the newer birth control pill that is intended to make you not get your period at all.

woah don't skip birth control pills to make your period come later.
This puts you at risk of pregnancy, not to mention increased chances of break through bleeding.

Instead of having your ususal 1 week break (or placebo pills) skip the break and move straight on to the next pack.

Often doctors will prescribe 7 days of progesterone to delay a period for a holiday or special occassion. (for those not on birth control)
