1. I missed my pill 2 days in a row, took
the double amount.
2. Had unprotected sex the first day I
missed my pill (day 1 of the two days I
missed)
This is all 12 days ago.
Now, a few days before my period I have
this very small spot. I have no other
symptoms of pregnancy
Should I be worried?

It's possible that you are pregnant.
Every time you have sex, pregnancy is a
possibility. Whenever you do not take
your pill as intended, it increases your
chances of getting pregnant. You can
never rely on symptoms when you are trying
to find out if you are pregnant. The only
way to know is to take a pregnancy test.

.their is a chance you could be pregnant
when you have not been taking your pills
correctly. .if you are already past the
time when you period is due you can take
an at home pregnancy to make sure.

It is possible to get pregnant when you
miss more than one pill & have
unprotected sex.
However, the odds are not in favor that
missing 2 pills would have caused you to
suddenly ovulate within 2 days. It can
happen, but most women would need to miss
more than 2 pills to start triggering the
ovaries to wake up and their bodies to
ovulate.
Breakthrough bleeding is common when you
alter the way you take the pill--skip
doses then have to double up doses. I'm
thinking that is most likely what happened
in your case.
Wait and see if your period starts with
the placebo pills as usual then if not,
take a test.

I'm assuming she forgot that she didn't
take her pill the day she had sex. When I
was on the pill, rarely, I would forget
one pill and not notice it until I went to
take my pills the next day.

i suppose that is a possibility. i just
can't imagine ever forgetting to take my
pill. i guess it's different for me.. i
have a 10 week old son & i definitely
don't want anymore kids probably ever. so
i never ever forget mine.
to the poster:
.maybe you should set an alarm on your
cellphone or something. to go off every
single day at the time you're supposed to
take your pill. that way you won't forget.
