so im 33 weeks and in the past week my stomach has gotten noticably smaller.. I still feel her move just as much as usual but i measured and im a full 2 inches smaller.. Could it be because im losing some fluids? I have an appointment on wednesday and ill ask her then but its weird.. I dont look 8 months pregnant anymore.. the dh is worried as heck right now.

That is really strange. You also said you lost about four or five pounds lately. Did you find that out at the doctor's office? I would be a nervous wreck waiting until Wednesday to find out what is going on.

Ya
I felt the same way the past few days. I would look in the mirror and not look as big as I did but my baby is stick kicking and moving around more than ever. It might be the way the baby is positioned I have no clue.

I was starting to think the same with me, but I think it has more to do with the baby's possitioning these days. I know that I am slowly starting to drop. I have also lost 22.5 lbs since I got pregnant. Yay me. They think I more than likely lost about 40. but gained back around 20. SO long as I am fine and the baby is fine, there are no issues with the weight loss. I go for another ultrasound next week so we will see how things are going in there. I wouldn't worry too much as our body's have been changing so much and if baby is starting to drop and engage that would mean that our bellys shape and size would change somewhat as well. If you are really concerned, just make sure that you mention it to your doctor when you see him/her again.

Take care.

Mary

Yeah doesn't your tummy get smaller when the head is engaged? Your baby's head is probably making the trip down into your pelvis now. My doc said my baby's head is down there, which is why I'm getting the nerve pains in my groin when I stand up. I haven't noticed my tummy getting smaller but it is nice and round now where it was a bit more watermelon like before.

Perhaps that's it. Good point.
