Lower Back Pain . Please Help . Posted: 05-28-07 06:13am
Hi.
I'll introduce myself first.
My name is Alex and I am 16 years old and
currently doing my GCSE's.
I live in the UK in the Leeds area.
Moving on to my problem. I recently
suffered an injury on the 24th May while
play fighting with my friend on the field.
Things got a little serious and my friend
kneed me in the back around the lower
region just underneath the kidney on the
left side of my body.
After going to my school nurse she sent me
home in awful pain. Sitting down was awful
and walking too.
I eventually got home and asked my mum to
book me an appointment for the doctors on
that day.
Finnaly got to the doctors and he said
that he would like to take a wee sample
for any damage to the kidney. Nothing was
wrong with my kidneys thankfully and he
prescribed me 8mg Co-Codamol.
There has been less pain on my back but I
still have alot of harsh, sharp pains in
that region.
It is now the 28th May, 5 days later and I
still have the harsh and sharp pains.
Also at the start of the problem I have a
numb feeling around the buttocks area and
back area.
The pain happens if I am trying to get out
of bed or i twist the body. Also if I lift
something with my right arm
I am starting to get worried with how long
it will take to ease off alot more. I
have GCSE exams when I get back from the
Half Term Holiday.
If anyone can help please reply to this
topic
Thank you
Alex Hodge
