My Weekend...

My weekend sucked.
My mother had a stroke on .Thursday
evening and didn't tell me until .Friday.
I knew that she was in the hospital and
that they had admitted her. I was even
with her that evening in the er but she
sent me home because she was tired and
wanted some sleep. They ended up telling
her that night that, that is what happened
and she didn't tell me until lunch on
.Friday, because she 'didn't want to worry
me'  Needless to say I
didn't return to work. She is doing
better, they let her come home. I'm just
thought she was having a reaction to the
cemo that she recently started and felt
horrible that I had left her the previous
night. But fortunately it was only a minor
stroke (minor stroke 
to me a stroke is a stroke) And it is only
minimally visible in her face, which will
hopefully get better in time.
Then, while I'm in there .Friday afternoon
with her, we were talking about me ttc.
Well, she busted out with '.Judy's
pregnant'  (I have grown up
with judy, literally, been friends since
girl scouts and the only friend I have
outside of my dh's friends) I was really
caught off guard by this. I ask how long
she had known. 'a little while'  Ok,
how far along is she? (I assumed she had
only recently found out and that is why I
didn't know) 'She's 4 and 1/2 months' I
wanted to cry. It turns out that she
thought that because this was an unplanned
pregnancy and my dh and I have been
through so much ttc that I would be upset
(which, regretfully, I was. I cried most
of the weekend) I was so hurt. And I was
so angry at myself. My best friend (I'm
the only one still talking to her) was so
afraid to tell me that she had been hiding
it for 4 months. I really was hurt. I
bought her a great card telling her that
she will be a great mother and that I'm
there for her and I bought her a maternity
shirt. We had lunch and all is good
between us. She needs all the support she
can get right now.
Well, enough about me. How was everyone
elses weekend?

Christy,
I'm sorry to hear about your mom. I hope
she is doing much better. Also, I am sure
that your friend was keeping her pregnancy
a secret out of her best interest for you
and your feelings. I know how you feel
though, it can almost feel like you have
been betrayed. Glad to hear that things
are ok between you guys.
My weekend was tons of fun. We went
camping on a lake with our boat. We went
tubing and spent all day saturday and
sunday out on the water. Needless to say
I am very sore from the tubing, and
extremely sunburnt  But we had fun!!

Thanks you guys, my mom just called a few
minutes ago. She's alot better (you always
feel better at home) just tired. But
thanks for your well wishes.
Chase-I'm sorry you had a bad weekend to.
What happened?
Heather-It sounds like you had a fun
weekend. A great way to get your mind off
things. Sorry you got sunburt though. I
have this great spay stuff I got at
walmart for burns. I'll tell you the name
of it when I get home from work.

stuff at work made my weekend bad. now
they tell me i have to wait til the dis
manager gets back in town to review the
tapes. but i am going to the main office
today. i should not have to wait a week. i
guess i am just a b*tch but i am gonna let
them know and see what kinda stuff goes on
there. i got a picture of a manager
humping on a employee.

.Lymphoma. From what she has told me. She
is responding well to the treatment
(fatigue is her main complaint) and should
only have to go for about 3 months total.
Which, is really surprising but a good
surprising.

My weekend sucked too. I was crying all
weekend. In fact it was about the worst
weekend I can even think of and Im an fool
for not doing something about what
happened.

im sorry your weekend sucked christy and i
hope your mom gets better soon she'll be in my
thoughts.
and im glad you had lunch and everything
with your friend, you really area great
friend.
my weekend wasn't anything special, i did
watch shrek 1 and 2 so that i'm ready for
3 in theatres in a few days  i'm
excited about that. other than that it was
pretty boring!!!

i'm sorry about your mom christy,hopefully
she will recover nicely and I hpe her
chemo goes well.I'm also sorry to hear
about your friend being pregnant and not
you.It wil happen one day hun! your 20,you
have plenty of time to get your cysts
strait and have a child.

Yeah, I know I have plenty of time. I'm
honestly not that upset. I knew it wasn't
going to be easy. I have just been way to
emotional lately. And the supidest stuff
gets to me. I hope that passes soon.

rained most of the weekend except for
sunday afternoon and night so we took the
kids and went to the drive in and watched
shrek 3 woo hoo. what happened pumpkin...

My weekend was just really boring really!
Saturday i had the hospital tour which was
really good, sunday all i did was wash my
hair and then on bank holiday monday it
was my grandad's birthday so we all went
to my grandparents house and i had 5 hours
of my grnadma thrusting random leaflets in
my face, having a go at anyone who asked
about a name because she doesn't want to
know what i'm having and then asking if
i'm going to have a priest present while i
give birth
