Just Don't Feel Right
Posted: 05-29-07 10:52am

Today i feel kinda strange, i've got a really strong feeling i'm going to go into labour soon because i just 'feel' different. There's no actual signs of labour i'm just getting the same kind of feeling i had before i found out i was pregnant when you just know something isn't quite right with your body you know? it's proberly just because of my labour scare last week, but put my mind at rest ladies!

just make notes for yourself of certain things like
x number of baby movements in an hour
how many bh you have in an hour and how long they last
rate each bh on a scale of 1-10

try taking a shower
or maybe a short walk

are you eating/drinking properly?

I know it's much easier said than done but try to relax a bit, maybe try to take a nap.

your body is going to be getting prepared, Mika could well be moving into a different position by now and getting lower.
You'll be releasing different quantities of hormones and your joints may start to feel a bit "loose" - that's hormones causing your ligaments to relax in anticipation of your pelvis having to stretch.

Don't be afraid to call your midwife or the hospital if you really don't feel good though. It's far better to make a call just to get some reassurance than to wait in fear.

hugz sweetie

Thanks kia. Mika's moving around just as much as usual and just as hard i must add Laughing my mum forces me to eat and drink properly, i have to have atleast 4 slices of toast or a bowl of cerial before she goes to work and then depending on what i feel like at lunch i'll either have a sandwhich with other things or make myself something hot and then at dinner i'd be lucky to have anything slightly unhealthy or un-nutritious because my mum's a health freak!
i think .Mika has moved down lower, i had a disturbed sleep last night because of her moving alot and then when i woke up my mum said how much lower my bump looked so she may well have moved down a little more and just getting herself ready! lets hope she follows the tradtion of every girl in my family being on time or early and every boy being late, it hasn't failed so far Laughing

Nope i'm not ready for them in any way Laughing i'm so forgetful and evertime i get to revising .Mika starts kicking really hard or i get heartburn or i'm just generally too tired to do anything but crash on my bed! I'm only doing them so i can make a good life for .Mika, i want to be able to get the grades i need to go to college so i can provide for .Mika, that's my number one priority

Not to scare you but my sister just had her baby at 37 weeks. Of course, it was her 4th so I think that made a big difference.

I do have a feeling that meeks will be early! I've already been told that if i do have her before my exams are over or i'm too uncomfortable to travel up to scholl then they can send an invigilator to my house and i'll do the rest of my exams here. Either way i haven't really go an excuse not to do them Laughing

good for you.. your already showing what an amazing mom you are Smile

Now rub some of that being early off on me.. Id be thrilled to have bree early but i have a feeling i will never know what it feels like to go into labor.. No one in my family has ever gone into labor naturally... my sister and my mom both had to be induced ( my mom 4 times, my sister 2)

I just have a feeling bree isnt coming out for the life of her.. she knows she has it good right now lol

Sometimes when babies are big that makes it a little harder for them to come out. They are floating and never engage and so that can confuse the body. I learned that because my sister has such big babies that hers never engage and she has to be induced with all of them.

I think meeks will come either the at 38 nearly 39weeks, but i'm not exactly known for being right! I also have really big really big feeling about the dates the 24th and 25th but that would make her just over 40weeks. Every girl in my family has never been born more than 4 days over their due date so lets hope meeks jumps on that bandwagon Laughing

Take a pregnancy test or go to your dr for a blood test. those are the only two ways of finding out for sure if you're pregnant
