Yeah I was watching "a baby story" and
Some lady was like in screaming agonizing
pain until she got the epidural. That
kinda scared me.

That kinda scared
me. |
That is why i haven't watched anything
like that since i got pregnant. honestly
it isn't that bad, when i went for my tour
of the hospital there were women walking
up and down the ward having a chat to
eachother and saying'oh can you stop a
minute i'm haing another one' then
breathing through it and carrying on with
their conversation!

People just deal with pain differently.
All of the baby books I've read say that
there may be moments, especially during
transition when things get really intense,
that you will say things that aren't like
you. I have a couple of books for the
birthing partner that tell them to do
their best not to be offended or hurt if
you say something kinda mean to them
during labour, like "don't touch me!!" or
"stop talking!!" or possibly worse I
guess. My boyfriend thinks I'm gonna
swear at him and call him names now.
 I
really hope I don't get like that but you
just never know. I guess if you prepare
yourself mentally to be in a lot of pain
and he prepares to hear you say a few
choice words then that'll make it a little
bit better. I sure hope so anyway because
I don't want to turn into a screaming,
swearing exorcist lady.

lol oh boy, ihope i don't get like that
either. it was funny because she said
something about "f*Cker" and the lady
behind her (i think it was family) was
trying sooooo hard not to laugh. and then
it looked like the lady in labor was going
to bite her arm lol she was making the
face that she was going to bite her, it
was crazy, ive never seen one like that
lol

I didn't scream or get angry or anything.
I think a couple of times I said "ohhh get
her outta me!" but it was in a jokey kinda
way. I even let .Jonny eat in the delivery
room next to me even though I wasn't
allowed any food. I was surprisingly nice
to everyone around me.. even after 26
hours of labour.

lol it doesn't make sense of why it'd be
on tv but they bleeped it out, you could
read her lips, it was f*cker. i just don't
know if it was "get out of there" i dunno
if she was calling her baby f*cker but she
definitely said it.
i dunno, maybe i'm wrong but i dunno what
other word it'd be that they'd bleep out
that she'd be screaming when she was
having her baby, lol who knows, i was just
surprised when i heard it.

aaaah lol that would have sucked.
i imagine she was in a lot of pain which
was why she was acting that way, i'm sure
i would have acted that way too if i was
in labor she
just seemed strange to me.
