Ah!! I Found Out It's A ... Posted: 05-29-07 16:50pm
girl!!
i am so, so, so happy! i won't lie, at
first i had my heart set on a little boy,
but as the big ultrasound got closer, i
realized i really wanted a mini-me. i
started to think, "what if i have all
boys?" [because there are a whole lot more
men in my family, than women]. well!! i
got my little girly girl!!
my boyfriend is extremely disappointed. i
thought it was a boy, along with everybody
else, and he had his hopes set so high.
but w/e. he'll get over it.
ah! my daughter!! i love her so much
already!
and... she's HEALTHY! the fetal-echo went
great!! her heart looks good & the doctor
didn't seem too worried, not at all. the
only concern he had was that there was
some urine in her kidney's. but he
explained to us that we shouldn't stress
about it because chances are it's nothing.
and if we didn't have the fetal-echo, we
would have never known about it. so, yeah.
she's doing wonderful! my strong little
kiddo.
she was smiling today on the ultrasound.
it was adorable! the doctor was like, "oh!
she's smiling!! look!" and she was.
so - another one for team pink!

Yay!
I too had my heart set on a little boy ...
but when they said "it's a girl"
Tear's were just streaming down my face! I
was SO happy...
And it was the same, just before my u/s I
started thinking about maybe wanting a
girl.
Either or would have made me happy, but
there is just something about little
girls!
Congratulations!!!
The pink team is huge! Even most of the
ladies that come into work are having
girl's!

i hope so, too! good luck.
i have always wanted a little girl, too. i
just thought i'd want her second so she
could have an older brother. but, my
family is filled with tons of men. i'm the
first woman in 4 generations to give birth
to a baby girl first! so - yay!! i told my
mom, "i wouldn't mind all girls, but i
couldn't do all boys."
now that i have my little girl, idc what
comes next. i have her!! [i just hope i
don't end up giving birth to a boy!] i've
bought way too much pink already.
either way though, health is number one.

Welcome to the pink team!!! My husband
was a little disappointed when we found
out we were having a girl too. He already
has a daughter from a previous
relationship and he was really hoping for
a son this time around. But he is really
starting to get excited now and can't wait
for her to be born. He rubs my belly
every night and talks to her; it's so
sweet. I know every man would like to
have a son, but there's just something
about 'daddy's little girl.'

My sister had her baby last night and she
had a girl. They didn't know what they
were having so it was fun finding out at
midnight last night
